Message #12

It has been a quiet morning at the office so I was able to do some lurking. My heart was racing when I sneaked in to Richard's office and found this scribbled on a piece of paper:

the
llama
escapes
Soon
inside

I wanted to continue sniffing around, but I heard his key turning in the lock! Luckily I managed to hide in his mahogany closet until he left to get some coffee.

  1. Hi Beth! If you take the first letters of each word, you get to:

For the profiling, they needed a lot of personal data. After Richard and Buck heard about the "World Wide Web" and saw the first page (http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html), they were thrilled. They quickly decided that they would focus on getting all the information they need for the profiling from the internet. They assumed that the internet would be a place where people would submit only things that are genuine and true. They were big fans of the IIOTIIMBT (if it's on the internet, it must be true) ideology and decided that they can do the whole profiling based on how people behave on the internet. In the beginning of the new millennium, they already had a system that would mine data from all over the internet and form a register of people. Basically everything that anyone ever posted, ended up in Avecira's register.
